Nickie has had a passion for nails since a very young age. Her mother was her influence - a Revlon manicurist trained in the 1950's in between theatre shows.
In 2003, after studying an NVQ3 in nails, followed by beauty and hairdressing, Nickie opened a salon where she honed her precision and product knowledge.
In 2012, she took the decision to go mobile and pursue session work, assisting Liza Smith, Lorraine Griffin, Anatole Rainey, Jenni Draper, Ama Quashie and Lyndsay Macintosh, to get the experience required to kickstart her career.
Nickie's first break was a cover shoot for Vogue Germany, 2014 November issue.
She now works independently, having worked on a number magazine editorials, advertising campaigns and video, along with 6 seasons at London Fashion Week, Paris Haute Couture and London Collections Men's - leading teams of manicurists at Ralph & Russo Couture, Nicholas Oakwell Couture, Ted Baker and Todd Lynn at London Fashion Week.
